Most of you by now have probably redeemed your voucher. This will be my first time going to any BMW event, and I would appreciate any advice upfront.

I am doing the one day event this coming Saturday. Is there anything I should be bringing with me, a GoPro?

Anything that I should specifically ask to do or be shown, specific cars to drive? I don’t really know anything about the days event.

I am just looking to have a good time and not miss out on something while I’m there

It's a scheduled structured event meaning it's broken down into different variety of M car to drive like the (M2, M3, M4, M5 and maybe an X5m) and which part of the track you guys will be in all throughout the day. Usually there's always going to be a timed autox, wet skidpad and possibly a Straightline drag.

M drivers package is an event for folks that just wants a taste and feel on variety of M cars on BMWs lineup. This is a good event to get you started and then transition into a much more in depth events offered like the one day, 2 day, advance M school and GT4 experience.

Have attended 3 different events at BMW Thermal CA and we get to drive on the big track in addition to a small autox. Had a blast in each event and have collected 2 shiny gold medals for being the fastest in an autox. (see avatar )

Only thing i can suggest is bring your own helmet if you have one and definitely a gopro. Although some of the M cars are equipped with onboard cameras, they are not good quality. Have a great time and I guarantee it's one of the best experience BMW offers to the public.

Are there GoPro mounts in the cars or should I bring a suction cup?

Suction cup. Can only mount it inside the car.
