Who's is running EcuTek tuning software and what are your results and what tuner did you choose to use?
I talked to one tuner and they said they wouldn't touch my car until I got a high pressure fuel pump Your thoughts and feedback is definitely appreciated

I'm running the software & I'm tuned by BendCalibration.
I think it's great. I love the gauges & data logging on my phone. My tuner was very vocal with me about the goals we were trying to reach in terms of power & what I wanted to use the car for. They're quick to respond to questions & have sent my revisions as many times as I needed. For a track ready tune on the Wagner Evo II we put down 425whp & 435wtq on a stock turbo N55 with a half tank of ethanol (E45) & 385whp & 385wtq on 91 octane. The power was consistent up until 6.5k rpm with a very minor drop to 7k rpm. The car drives better than stock & I mean that in the little ways you notice around town for daily driving. You would never guess it was tuned. I've been running the tune for 10k miles now & I don't have any complaints. Best of luck!

I did buy the kit from Bend. I bought the stage 3 package with the fuel filter.
I'm also running on the Dorch stage 2 HPFP. I've run full ethanol and blended mixtures. It's nice not having to change maps & filling up with ease. From my experience I prefer 5 gallon ethanol blend the most for daily driving (E40). The car drives like stock and cold starts are normal. Their kit adjusts to your ethanol blend and changes power accordingly so no need to worry about the specific mix. With the OTS E30+ BM3 map we did 445whp & 500wtq as well but the logs from what I remember didn't look healthy enough for serious track driving. I'm sure you could get a second map by your tuner for more power & city/highway driving in mind.

As I told you in the PM - I would talk to Bob at StageFP. My tune is an off the shelf N55 tune on MHD (which he advised me to buy over BM3 at the time) that makes upwards of 380whp and carries nearly 360whp to redline.
They did a M2 with a dynotune back when he was at BPC and made upwards of 380whp and held it to redline - this was on 93 I believe: My VD dyno from over a year ago A good tuner like Bob and @6speed_M2’s is going to get similar power, and a broader powerbad with less drops, and a more linear feel. They do better with supporting mods, like an inlet and DV valve which aid in higher RPM Breathing. If you’re considering MILVS, ask if that’s something they have experience with as well. It really just depends on your goals. For me, I’m shooting for 400whp on pump and holding around 380whp to redline - consistent power even in Florida’s 93F ambient (which is why I have a race intercooler) I wanted the ultimate dual duty set and forget setup, but you experience and expectations may vary. |

+1 on Bend Calibration.
You won't find many tuners out there pushing the envelope in development AND at the same time be as intimate with the OEM logic as them. If you drove my car around town part throttle, you wouldn't be able to tell that my car was pushing north of 600whp let alone discern that my car wasn't stock (aside from the sound of the turbo, dp, exhaust, and solid suspension components )

I appreciate the fact that your car is running so nicely If you don't mind giving a little more detail on mods, I would highly appreciate it
