Yes, the GT4 is a much lighter car, aero, better tires. 9 sec quicker than the regular M2 SportAuto time of 8:01. It definitely picked up time from the upgrades. Your TTRS is a little awd beast, fun little car.

Sport Auto did 7:42 with Cayman GT4 which was on Cup2 tires. M4 (equipped with CCBs) did 7:52 on PSS. Tires make a huge difference especially on a lengthy track (R-comp tires such as Cup2s can make more than 10sec difference around a 13-mile track). Don't just compare laptimes without considering other factors.

That's a good point. But I definitely thought the M2C would be faster than the TTRS. With the TTRS being so nose heavy and the brakes inferior to M2C, I always thought it would lose to the M2 on a track. Still surprised.

I see quite a few corners with under steering going on, that said, I think this is my next car

I think it needs more front tire too

Wow. I experienced some understeer around a pretty sharp switchback, and there was a motorcyclist coming the other way. Almost lost control of my bowels.

At the time, I just figured I sucked at driving. Now... I'm going to blame it on not enough front tire!

I feel better about myself now.

It's such a great time, more so when compared to the M2 and 1M!

As correctly mentioned, tires make a huge difference. What would they be with Cup2 tires like the GTS? Maybe very close for comfort...

LOL not to offend you, but you still suck at driving. If the car understeers, which all street cars will, and you put yourself in dire situations, you were going too fast or didn't brake properly.

On what tires ?

I mean there was a 1.44 sec difference on road atlanta between an M2 with PSS and one with P4S.

Thats huge, would probably translate so 4-5sec on the Nurburgring

Great to see such inspiring lap times from a stock M2C

Said from the beginning the M2C will be at least as fast as the M4 on the track

Civic type R boys, the 7:43 at the Ring was achieved with R tires, a strip out interior with engine tunning...The M2C in such a package will run a 7:2x or lower depending on mods

Wonder what the times would be like on mp4s with wider tires like the f82 has and the M4CS tune?
