I have the Stage4 as well. Plus the MPE and Fabspeed sport cat. The car's insane, you'll love it!

Do you think the gains are accurate to what dinan claims? (+100hp etc) ??

380+whp is what your setup is going to get on a dynojet (330~340whp being the benchmark), given the coldness of Canada. That's 40+whp power gain and that's a consistent gain throughout the rev band, especially top end, unlike stock turbo where power gain always taper as rpm climbs.

See more numbers below.

This one makes 370+ with downpipe to SAE correction. STD correction would show 380+ though.
https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1399284

This one 380+ to SAE, with downpipe and Pure Inlet.
https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1371668

I did 410+ to STD, with downpipe, Inlet and Custom Flash, on a very cold day.

1) If you think 40whp over a stock M2 is low, think again.

2) Forget about the vendor claim.

3) There is only one way to find out.

does this stage 4 affect low end torque? there is already enough torquiness in the low gears

what did you do different with your, did you get stage 1 or 4?

what you mean by custom flash? not dinan?

if someone ask you how much hp you got, what you say?

So i got the car back, and it feels great!

Feels more refined, the power delivery is put down more smoothly, is like the finishing touches were added,

here are mods I got done:

-Stage 4 dinan tune
-High flow dinan intake (looks real cool in CF)
-Upgraded dinan turbo
-Upgraded dinan fuel pump
-Aluminum charge pipe set (active autowerkes)
-Dinan FM intercooler

did not do the inlet pipe change, dinan said it wasnt recommended and would've affected their warranty coverage

They said its not recommended to increase more power inbound to the engine, even if its dismal increase (the guy from pureturbo said it prob would be minimal benefit, compared to benefit to one of their turbos, theyve never tested benefit to dinan turbo)

They said (dinan) they are already pushing the engine to limit as far as they can and any increase in power would void warranty

Ill tell you one difference for sure with this stage 4 package, i get wheelspin all the way into 3rd gear from full stop, in comfort mode! With cup2 tires! See the traction light blinking and all, never used to get wheelspin like that with these tires before, unless i totally wot

Im at these red lights which merge two lanes into 1 just past the red , its always a game cause someone faster will always try to pull ahead and get in front,

Today i was caught looking at my phone and thisnguy next to me got s bit of a head start, and im like oh no u dont! Lol so i kinda hit the pedal , and lets jsut say it was different experience than before!

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but is it absolutely necessary to use the Dinan FMIC with the turbo and stage 4 tune? I'd like to explore using a Wagner Evo II or some other alternative FMIC that doesn't require cutting the car. I know the Dinan is larger than the Wagner or CSF, but does it matter enough to cause problems?

Truth us the brace is not structural , its a real thin piece of aluminum, didnt see any strength in it, it keeps the rad support in place, and its only a cross beam that is cut, all of the mounting points are kept in tact,
