Some interesting bits: -New grill provides more than 40% additional air compared to OG M2. -New bumper design also improve air intake around 10%. -Overall 20% better cooling compared to the OG M2. |

FvM's remark about power restrain due to the air intake and cooling capacity is perhaps not absolute.
What is absolute is he said 'we have to pay for performance' That literally means to get the same power as the M4 we have to pay M4 money...which totally goes against the concept of an entry M model The CS tune is available aftermarket though |

Why do people still take pure marketing mumbo jumbo and repeat it like gospel as if everything said was such an impressive feat? BMW aren't going to say "well guys, instead of redesigning the whole car, we messed up the original design and tacked on a new design front bumper on a old design language car because marketing said we have to, and had to put the engine in because of the new environmental regulations, please still buy it." Are these people so insecure about buying the car that they need these things to comfort themselves into believing in having a weird front fascia, unusable power and horrible sound is a good trade off?
