Side winglets fitment question

I'm installing carbon fiber side winglets from RW carbon. When installed, there is around a 2mm gap between the winglet and the car body.

Is this about the same as you would have with the BMW performance part version?

Also, how much does the winglet flex -if I push on the side it is able to bend and hit the car body. I'm concerned about it rubbing against the paint while driving.
