he'd be so pissed when he realized he could've deleted the "2" the "0" and the "i" and then had an M4 instead of an M2. That's like a $15000 mistake right there..... |

Debadging is only an issue to some because we are so used to seeing it on every car. Something seems "missing" to some. Once you get it out of your head that it is supposed to be there. The aesthetic can be appreciated. In Europe There is a dealer option to debadge the M2C. To each his own, just my two cents! |

The PPF installer had to replace the rear badge, he said the adhesive on the original badge will not be as effective after removing it. He showed me brand new badge from dealer before install.

OP: I'm with you, I don't like the look of it, and I think it looks even worse on the cars with the longer names (X5M comp, for example).
I took it off and drove with just 'M2' for a year before removing the rear badging completely. Planning to buy a pre-taped badge from IND if I need/want to replace the whole thing for any reason! Don't want to try cutting my own tape to fit around the small badges. Here's a pic with M2 only (sorry for the small pic; can upload a better one on a computer).

99% of car fans wouldn't know what an M2C was because its was never sold as that. M2CS moniker is a different thing altogether, CS has historical connotations and it is the proper product name. |

Most people have no idea what the C in M2C stands for. I'm glad it's M2 Competition. I want people to know that I have a competition model, which sort of implies that I'm a professional race car driver.
M2C sounds like M2 compact. |
