I consider the '18 cluster to be a vast improvement over the '16/'17. It's so much cleaner, and looks more high-tech IMO. The red seems almost retro by comparison, especially since it's busier.

There was no reason for BMW to reinvent the wheel. Everybody complained about this, so they returned.
I am so glad they moved away from their stupid previous turn signal set up. I like the stalk to stay down or up, not come back to the middle by its self. Clearly BMW listened to its customer bases' numerous complaints on this subject. When I would go back and forth from my A4 to my old m3, I would incorrectly operate the turn signal in my m3 all the time. Confusion. Once again, im so happy that the m2 has traditional turn signal functionality

Even with same suspension components plus the additional stiffness, I’d expect them to feel different as the different Powertrain had to affect the weight distribution etc.
