Drove the DCT M2 at M school in Sport plus/MDM and it will chirp up to third easily so outside of defeating traction control it will kick in. Now that my personal car is broken in I am beginning to explore it on mountain roads so it will be interesting to see what practical impact this has.

This is not traction control. This is a driveline protection function. When you go to full DSC off it’s still there. The only way I found around it is keeping my foot at 80% throttle while shifting.

Also works but you do bounce off the rev limiter.

So the ECU is able to do the boost control and RPM Limitations during the No-Lift Shifting right? Or do you have to tune the ECU to achieve this?

Ahh, I wouldn't say that.

In true no-lift up-shift application there is collaboration between ESP and Engine ECUs to keep RPM and torque in check.

I mimic this with my right foot. I found the sweet spot to be about 10-20% lift. Then the delay is not there. But if you keep your foot down you get a jerk forward and the RPMs go to redline.

yeah it would be interesting to see if the dme supports no lift shifting and just put it in the tune.

There has been NLS developed on some piggy backs but the ECU from the factory does not support this. If you do NLS without the ecu compensating for it, then you are pretty much accelerating the wear on your synchros which clearly isn't good for the transmission.

Didn't realize this thing had that much power to bust the tires loose between 2-3 shifts.
