For those sharing mileage along with age, how does mileage affect overall battery health / longevity?
FWIW I remember during the 2023-2024 new year I was in DC for about 2 weeks and just leaving the car alone for that much time pissed it off and when I got back it gave me warnings about battery low and like the comfort access wasn’t working etc. …. I asked my service advisor at the dealer about it and he said that was normal. Ooookay. In any case just a few months ago I was out of town for about 5-6 weeks and didn’t have any battery warning issues when I got back so who knows. My car is a 2020 and is parked outdoors in Seattle (can get cold overnight but in general it’s less cold than in the east coast) |
