I can confirm that this actually does work! I have had mine coded over a year ago and you can actually see the lights moving around cars in front of you and oncoming traffic. I’ve seen it spot a pedestrian and even saved me from a ticket by pointing a beam to a cop hiding on the right.

pure inlet pipe

Has anyone else had trouble installing this part? took the M2 in today to get this done and they couldn't make it fit. look at the difference of the stock pipe angle. they said if they make it fit the clamp will try to straighten the plastic pipe back out when tight. also, The upgraded charge pipes are thicker so this makes the inlet / stock pipe touch the charge pipe when trying to force the fitment.

what a PITA!! have to pay for a new stock pipe and shop time and a rental car to get me back home, hopefully pure will let me return this part. one last thing, when testing the fitment of the inlet pipe, one of the O rings disintegrated when the pipe was pulled out form the turbo... yes it was lubed. Now I have to wait for BMW to ship the part to get her back on the road.

What offset? Tire size planning running? They look great!

The little things add up on daily use of the car, and the anti-dazzle feature is amazing. Took a few hours because I had to get some updated versions of E-Sys and a few of the CAFD files but totally worth the effort.

I went the E-Sys route because I'd done it on my M235, and my buddy's M4. I imagine Bimmercode is easier but I like logging and audit trails
What year and headlights do you have? My understanding was the LCI's with adaptive LED's cannot handle the Anti-Dazzle.

VLD, works fine though. If the Anti-Glare really works... that'd be fantastic.

2018 LCI with Adaptive LEDs

There are a lot of posts from people saying it blinds drivers, and an equal number saying it doesn't. There are photos posted saying if your lights don't have a distinctive "U" shape when you manually engage high-beams that you're going to blind drivers.

I went out and tested this immediately after coding with a passenger to verify; It works exactly like the videos posted by BMW UK here:

There is obvious beam split, the tunnel is low enough it doesn't light up the back of the car, and you can see the light pattern change and eventually switch off for oncoming traffic. The ONLY time I saw a car get lit up was someone turning right onto a side road and it took a moment for the right side high beam to turn off.

I talked to my service advisor yesterday (because he knows I code my cars and will always tell me if a service will affect anything i've done) and he said he believes the shutters were required for Xenons but not LEDs.

I have dashcam video that I will post when I get back at the end of the week because I'm sure people are going to tell me I'm wrong, and going to cause drivers to go blind with a side of trigger sudden explosions of oncoming traffic.

Happy to admit I'm completely imagining things, and will re-code 8S4 immediately if someone can tell me why my SA and two sets of eyeballs are incorrect.

A passenger? To verify don't you need another vehicle and driver to have them drive in front of you and toward you to test it?

I went with ET33 and a 12mm spacer to make sure it clears the suspension up front. I'm planning on running NT01s at 275/35 18 square all around. The car is lowered on Bilstein's and also has GC camber plates so this setup should fit well and allow me to run a 275 square on a 10" wheel without any rub or further mods.

Solid plan, please share details once all is on. I was looking at the 18x9.5 to run 265s but an 18x10 on 275s sounds better. I need camber plates!

I just ordered kwv3s and I believe my 19s are 22/35 but I wasn't planning on using spacers. Do you think that will be an issue? From what I've read so far, it shouldn't be. Not sure what camber plates I'm going with yet. Figured I'd break in the new suspension first.

Can't say without knowing your wheel widths. Assuming you are still running the stock wheels, which are 9" ET29 up front and 10" ET40 at the rear, you shouldn't have an issue running without spacers with just lowering the car via kwv3s.

Yeah, we went with 9" & 10" for the signature wheels with et 22/35. Let me know your track schedule so you can be my instructor one of those days!

Well no one wants it, remember? I'll have to endure the pain of driving it some more.

PS I also just ordered a fabspeed downpipe.

No wonder you're trying to sell it. You've been driving it with a stock DP/Coils

Boy are you in for a treat.

Blacked out the kidney grill and gills using Avery SW900 Gloss Black Vinyl.

1 yard x 60" cost me $27 and I have lots left over... the kidneys were the toughest to do because of the amount of stretch required, but it really wasn't all that difficult.

The results are excellent, just as good as the original parts, and it saved me over $300 I think...

I'm planning to do the trunk M2 badge tomorrow night; it's got too late here now!

Depending on your car color, might suggest wrapping the painted area just behind the black grilles. My wrap exaggerates the issue. Before and after wrapping that area behind the grilles with Avery gloss black:
