Oh that's funny that's where my dad lives currently. He plans to move to Idaho where is cheaper and he can fish all day. I really like blue ridge.

Gatte,
Does the new M2 Competition grille look like the G20 prototype?

Honestly if the grille looks very similar to the G20 I'm OK with that. Just like any design change it takes time to get use to. Once we see more and more cars with the new grille no one will even talk about it anymore.

I can only work with what I got. Wish we had a full on "photoshop" of the car.

I reckon the designers at BMW looked at the Kia grill and decided that they would like to copy Peter Schreyer’s design.

Don't want to make it too good, then you'll have no incentive to post your "photoshops".

FWIW: kidneys designed in the recent past (WIPO registration in 2017). Unspecified for which BMW model:

Although they look like the kidney grilles for the M2 Competition they have nine slats instead of six. Nonetheless it gives us a closer look as to their overall shape. I'm really interested to know if there's still a left and right part or if the new design is just one large piece.

Let me fix that for you:

Kidney designs featuring double slats (///M cars) (apparently not yet the 'joint kidney grille' design):

German trademark (filed in January 2017) + International trademark (filed in May 2017)
