For those in Illinois, that would not be Umerican horsepower. 410 PS (German) is 405 HP (Umerican) just like the current M2 is 370 PS and 365 HP.

Purely hypothetical exercise: if exactly the same factor as measured by Akrapovič for the base M2 would apply for the M2 Competition, you get the following results:

• max output: 302 kW + 4.5221% = 315.66 kW = 429.2 hp (metric) or 423.3 hp (mech [USA])

Whatever the official numbers are it really should be compared to civic M2 against the M2 C on the dyno to find the real difference. I suspect the gap is going to be a lot bigger than the difference in the official numbers, but we won't know until people have the cars.
