M2CS CF Spoiler - who else wants it?
Am I the only one that wants this?
I'm assuming this part will be available separately but I'm wondering when? Any clue? Read somewhere else the the CS won't make it to the states until Sept 2020 but I assume the spoiler might be available before that... It's like the RKP one and I guess will probably MSRP for more $$. |

I've been waiting for the CS to come out ever since the spy shots showed it with this spoiler. Really hoping they don't limit it to CS owners - the AutoID piece looks nice, but I'd rather have the BMW one if I can. I love the look of it on the M3/M4, but am not quite sold on the look on the M2. The fact that it's a factory piece now is helping me get over that hesitation.

Yeah admittedly a "first world problem" but I literally just got the M Performance CF Spoiler from Sun Motors BMW ($397 + shipping - this place is awesome) and was about to install with Betalink (to help with any end lifting issues) casue I'm like I'll never want to replace this but now hmm what to do?
Since betalink is permanent the only other high strenth industrial adhesive that I know about and have used is E6000. https://www.amazon.com/E6000-237032-.../dp/B004BPHQWU Technically not as strong as Betalink so I'm thinking of using this instead of Betalink (where the instructions say to apply Betalink) and probabaly some on the ends as well plus taping it down and letting it dry for like 2 days and using the adhesive promoter. This should be only semi-permanent then... Last edited by BLOJOE; 11-08-2019 at 03:43 PM.. Reason: Adding details... |

Im over the CS cutout spoiler since BMW started using it on the none CS models and even non M models.
Check out the X4M comp and M235i GC which have similar styles. Way to dilute the brand. Just like the M badge, I was at the dealer yesterday and I think every car there had at least 1 M logo on it grr.

Might be close, but I seriously doubt it's exactly like the factory spoiler.

You get what you pay for. A third of the price for a part that is ten times worse.

Very off-topic but love your username lol was just in Annecy last month and had great Raclette however I agree, I am always tempted by these aftermarket CF pieces but I'm OCD and want perfection.

There certainly are aftermarket parts that are of great quality, but they will cost as much if not more than the BMW stuff.

We have a pre-preg carbon variant of our CS spoiler coming out in the next few weeks. OEM quality without the price tag.
