I will be updating this thread as I move through the build on this truly incredible machine, so bear with me as it gets updated over time. My F32 build took several years, and while I suspect this one will be faster, it will still be a labor of love over time.

As the build progresses, I will share updates, timing and DIY videos throughout the build! I am also planning on getting a good baseline dyno run here soon (2/20 probably) so I can measure progress moving forward from stock!

I know as of right now, there isn't a lot to show here but it will grow.

3/30/2021 - 22rpd in Renton
OTS S2 BM3 Map - Active Autowerke catless DP and performance midpipe
RWP averaged SAE corrected - 503.7 (+42.3 over CS catless, +107.7 over stock)

100% worth the upgrade both speakers and amp. Also if I was doing the speakers, I would do the soundskins stage 1 and 2 at the same time

Interesting content and great car man. I wonder if you could tell me the difference between Soundskins Pro and Soundskins Pro Plus?

The only difference is just size of the material itself. The Pro Plus is a bigger roll in volume and dimensions. The Pro is about perfect for door vapor barriers and smaller work, while doing things like the cabin basin and much larger areas, the Pro Plus is better. Material is the same, its just relative for the size of space you are working with in your car.

This really was the final missing piece for my exhaust setup, and couldn't be more pleased in the result. Every piece built towards the whole, downpipes, EL midpipe and now axle-back exhaust.

The whole octave range is shifted down, sounds much more aggressive and a deeper note throughout.

I am really impressed by this change, and also uses the OEM valve actuators so you don't loose that functionality, or have to use a new remote.

Really impressed..

FULL exhaust suite comparison, every single component, will be out next week!

3/11/2021 - 22rpd in Renton

Stock Tune
RWP averaged SAE corrected - 403
Torque average SAE corrected - 466.85

Stock CS tune flashed
RWP averaged SAE corrected - 422.1
Torque average SAE corrected - 473.43

What is most important out of it really is the radical difference in the power and torque curves. The CS is much flatter and massively stronger earlier, plus torque later in the band. Check out the +70 at 6500 RPM! Just nuts!

Really excited to run the CS map until its time to move to the stage 2!
Thanks for sharing.
How were you able to flash the CS calibration? Thanks.

Ok yall.. the INITIAL results are in for the Mosselman turbo installed, with Cary Jordan tuning.

PLEASE READ FIRST -
1. Massive tire slip on every run, so torque is actually underrated a bit. Nothing we could really do about it at the time.
2. My stock HPFP absolutely falls off a CLIFF after about 6400rpm running E85 (I was reading E65 on the BM3 sensor) with every run. Cary did an amazing job working with that, but its clear the HPFP needs help to get really serious on E85, so we dialed the tune back for now. There is clearly significant head room with proper fuel support.

Custom S2 Mosselman turbos with pump/flex fuel tune from Cary Jordan, on a Dynojet at CarbConn in Kirkland WA
92 octane RWP averaged STD corrected - 588.12
92 octane Torque average STD corrected - 484.09* (serious tire slip throughout)

E85 RWP averaged STD corrected - 632.35
E85 Torque average STD corrected - 573.78 (still tire slip)

The DIY for the final piece of the set is up and ready! Really love the way this brings the whole car together and was absolutely worth it!

Now.. I am going to say it a BUNCH of times.. these are INTERIM results only, not final! Not only did I have massive tire slip throughout every single run, we ran into my HPFP just not handling E85 well at top RPMs. My Mosselman Turbo Systems turbos from Kies Motorsports install went flawlessly with the help of Ivan Hernandez, and time to get on the dyno for tune updates!

So.. this was a blast to do, incredible to see the jump in power and as always working with Cary Jordan and JordanTuned, LLC is an honor. Cary is a consummate professional, and has tuned thousands (like 5k plus!) of S55s, with more to come from mine once I upgrade my fueling!

I hope you enjoy this, as I certainly did with the awesome support from Ivan Hernandez, and stay tuned for even MORE once I have better fueling on tap from Dorch Engineering!
