Hey just to update everyone, when I last spoke to 2M a few weeks back, they informed me that at the moment the full carbon version would be unavailable. That was the whole draw for me to get the 2M hood, I have since gone with an alternative.

Don't worry about the brand names

These hoods (Carbon, Aluminium...) are all from China and probably from the same manufacturers

You pay more for a higher fabrication tolerance range...but none of them will ever be close to OEM grade

My view is with these aftermarket hoods...treat it as a disposable item...get it cheap for the look you want and ditch when it starts to fail
