Thanks bro. The girl that owned the car before me didn't install any PPF, so there are some chips and such on the front, which bug me, even though they are small. I'm currently kicking around the idea of having the entire front bumper redone, and when I do, shaving the reflectors and headlight sprayers completely. |

Couldn’t do anything. Too much smoke. Seattle air extremely unhealthy.

Swapped my old goofy looking CF M style mirror caps for the newer TRE M replacement mirrors painted LBB to match. The shape looks correct now. The paint match looks okay to the eye but not in photos, could just be the car has a layer of wildfire ash on it.... and I have not driven it so not sure if it whistles when driven or whatever.
didn't black out the turn signal, if I decide to I can wrap it myself. |

I'm probably making this sound bad but all and all I think it looks OEM from pretty much any distance if you don't know exactly what to look for with the exception of the driver side cap at the tip of the wing, and even that it's very very close to perfect and hard to notice without inspecting for issues, also it's possible this was user error on my part. As long as it doesn't create wind noise or have water leak issues I'll be happy. Going to go for a drive today so I should find out. |

Did you get all the cap tabs to fit properly? I know the first time I did my install I didn't realize that there were tabs at the bottom that fit into specific holes, so I had tiny gaps. I asked AutoID and they said "see this video." I was like, um, thanks, could have used that earlier lol.

Finally got around to installing the AutoID TRE front lip!
Had to remove the OEM winglets, removing double sided tape is my enemy... Really like how it turned out, definitely completes the front end and my stormtrooper look. Fitment was good, I reused 3 oem mounting points on both sides, and drilled another 4 holes. Also added more double sided tape where the fangs/winglets are but I don't think it was necessary in hindsight. The lip itself is high quality CF. Comparing the weave on the MP winglets and this lip, you'd think it came from the same factory. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. |

Judge for yourself on fitment. Also no whistling or strange wind noise at least up to 90 mph. Didn't go over that speed to know if there are issues at faster speeds. hard to see in the pic but the cap isn't flush at the very tip of the wing, but obviously it's off by a very small amount. That thing would look pretty on my car for a day and then get scraped up/torn off the second I pulled in to any driveway/parking lot around town. |

Appreciate the time snapping and posting the pics in nice overcast conditions akkando !
I see what you mean by nearly perfect. I also noticed the issue you called out where the 2 black pieces meet aren't perfect. It might bother my dumb OCD, so I'll have to think it over (yep I know, literally no one will notice but me and maybe my wife, but it is a mod for me and not others so something to consider). Although, OEM is stupidly expensive, so what can you do... Thanks again! Looks really great otherwise! Our cars really should've just come with "M mirrors" from the factory. |

Nice! What seat mounts did you go with? Do you plan on retaining the oem 3pt belts for street use in addition to harnesses?

Mounted the QRT-R steel side mounts on Macht Schnell Clubsport seat mounts with sliders. I am retaining the 3point street belts with Sparco 6pt. harnesses.

What are you mounting the lap belts to? Bolted to the floor? How about the 3pt lap belt connector? |

Flashed the car to BM3 Stage 2 e30 OTS tune. Ordered Fuel-It Bluetooth flex fuel analyzer, LPFP & Dorch Stage 2 HPFP
Also had ER boost pipe, MST turbo inlet and Turbosmart plumb-back Diverter valve installed. Full bolt on now and along with the fuel upgrades I'll only need Pure Stage 2 turbo to be able to get 500whp pretty reliably. |
