Detail/ fix on the rear diffuser?
Hi all,
Thank you In advance for clicking into this post. I am trying to gather some knowledge on how to deal with white spots/ maybe damage on my rear diffuser. I found some paint on my rear diffuser (probably got it from the road) and used lacquier thinner to try to remove it after tried using just alcohol. The next day found it became the condition shown in the picture below. Could anyone please share how I can remove them? Will buffing it works? Thank you |

depending on the actual type of paint thinner you used you might have damaged the plastic. You could give a black trim restore a try like gyeon q2 trim. There's many brands all offering their own flavor

I rubbed my fingers against it and felt not much differences on the surface or the texture of it. Would it be just the clear coat of the plastic trim get affected by the paint thinner?
