Under the cheese. Easier to put in bag that way. Could also just add after taking out of freezer.

We made chicken itchy-lalas last night. OK, I warmed the tortillas in oil, my wife did the rest. I DID have to lift the trays into the fridge, and put the mixer back up on the high shelf.

The green salsa, after dipped on wedges of flatbread, was great, and had some wang to it too!

In about 30 minutes my personal tupperware goes in the oven!!!

I made some amazing brussle sprouts except the texture isn't there

Do you guys know how to make them crispier? I'm thinking maybe a few more minutes would've helped or something other than basically an ikea pyrex pan would do it good, too

The bottoms are burnt-crispy not crispy like chips but the whole thing is excessively mushy inside

How big are the sprouts?
Are you cooking them whole or cutting them in half?

Cook a handful of slices of bacon in a cast iron skillet.
Once they are done remove the bacon and half the bacon grease.
Put the sliced in half sprouts into the pan and cook to the desired crispness.
While the sprouts are cooking, cut the bacon into bits. If the sprouts start to dry out add some of grease removed earlier.
Once the sprouts are done, add the bacon bits back into sprouts. Add fresh grated parmesan and enjoy.

DOOD, it's only 8:20am and I want sprouts!!!

And Turkish Pickle turn up the heat. You had to cook them too long for the edges to get crisp if the center was mushy.

Brussels sprouts...I’m really a fan of roasting vegetables, especially cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. Higher temps, like 400*-450* will get some good caramelizing and crispness.

You might give this a try as I think Mark is usually spot on: Roasted Brussels Sprouts

I had tri-tip, stinky-pee greens, salad, and Texas toast.

Then I poured what was left of my wife's diet Orange soda over a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Ok, I need some help from the Americans because as far as I know, this originated from here.

My wife loves cornbread. I do not. But I'd like to make her some as part of a meal for Mother's Day.

Anyone have any amazing recipes for cornbread? I'm open to doing it on the smoker if that's even possible, the oven, whatever...just help me out with some amazing cornbread please!

Going from memory here of people that love food - I'm sure I'm missing a bunch - but basically everyone that has replied to this thread, too many of you to tag, MKSixer, TXSTYLE P1et Now_Rudi KenB925

I'm a little lazy when it comes to cornbread, but I get good results with the following.

Start with box of Mexican style cornbread. Use a can of creamed corn with the mix. Add jalapeno, diced, as well as any other spices she may like.

You can cook as individual servings or the traditional method.

Of course this is only an option if she like Mexican.... or trying new things.

She likes Mexican, but not spicy food / jalapenos. I guess I should have added that in there.

Likes stuff that is sweet...so a sweeter cornbread is probably more up her alley. TXSTYLE you like smoking stuff - is there a way to do a smoked cornbread? I think that might be interesting.

Use milder peppers than Jalapenos.

You can also use honey in the mix to make it sweeter.
