News just came down that June allocations have been pulled into May production which means most dealers got just two 2016s including our HEA cars.

No M2s will be produced in June. The next M2 allocation will be for July production, which will include the production volumes for july-sept.

CADK is a CA at a dealer in MD, so guessing they got word today. FWIW they just got their first car in on Wednesday night - I went over to see it. BSM, DCT, $5k over MSRP for now.

Does this mean that someone who already has a June production week,will now get there M2 produced in May?Forum member gmzanatta from Canada said that his production number shows a week 25 production week,which is June 20.

It just says "june m2 volumes were allocated with May's Production."

We have modification deadlines for May production. If you have a June production week, it looks like your car will be built in July as a 2017, but I can't say for certain.

PM me your production numbers if you'd like me to check it for you.

so what i'm taking from this is that the next allocations handed out will be for the 3 months combined. does this mean that dealers will be getting more than usual or that production is being ramped for the coming months due to high demand?

Just called BMW Genius regarding my order. It was originally scheduled for Week 25 production, it is now scheduled for Week 22! Hopefully the same is true for you too gmzanatta

Production is not changing as far as we know. They are basically moving June productions into May as the final cutoff for MY2016.

I would just like BMW to communicate better in regard to allocation numbers. Are we talking 1-2 cars per month? What is it? Everyone (including dealers, apparently) is sitting on a list with blindfolds on, and it's unnecessary.

Totally agree! BMW has done a really poor job in managing expectations and communications.

This is by far the worse car ordering process I have been involved in!

I've been calling BMW's Production Status # - they are telling me - no confirmed date yet; however, BMW Genis just told me build date is estimated for week 21 - week after next. Guess I really need to decide if I'm going to change the color from LBB to MG by Monday.

So is the "next allocation" the one that is just about to come out in May, probably next week?
