Rear Diffuser Options With Good Fitment
So I recently tracked my car on a very hot day (112 degrees F) and melted the rear diffuser. The inner rivets melted so I'm not able to use those anymore. So I cheaped out and bought a cf diffuser from ebay and it didnt fit well. It was filmsy and I couldn't get it to line up properly. Decided to spend more and got AutoTeknic difffuser and didnt fit well as I would like either. The middle clips doesnt seem to sit well. Are all these diffusers bad fitment? Is it my installation error? Could my melted diffuser cause all these other ones not fit well? Is M performance diffuser the one that fits the best? Anyone have AutoTeknic diffuser? Need some options and opinions. Top is AutoTeknic Bottom is ebay Last edited by Yadadameans; 09-02-2020 at 08:31 PM.. |

Where in the bay are you? If you're in the east bay (Hayward area) you can swing by my place and we can take a look at it and compare to mine. I have the original M Performance diffuser.

Rkp and M performance both fit really well. It's a roll of the dice with lesser vendors. Even copy to copy

If perfect fitment and good quality is important to you I'd probably go OEM M performance. Buy it nice or buy it twice, as they say.

I have the M Performance. Fits great and easy install. As previously stated, removing the OEM diffuser is the hard part.

Late to the party, but can anyone describe the difference between the RKP and M Performance? I'm squinting at pictures, but that's not going to help me at this point.

I'm a fan of the RKP work. Subtle but with a little more presence. |

Bought M perf used off eBay. Yeh it had minor ding or two that got can't realistically see from normal viewing distances.
Too many stories of people disappointed by third party fitment issues. Also looks OEM. Last edited by 3t3p; 10-24-2020 at 04:35 PM.. |

Anyone given Spin Monsters a go? Their P1 Diffuser with the F1 light looks sweet.

I second the RKP diffuser for style and figment. If you want something closer to the MP, but slightly better fin design, then RKP is it. Of course, looks are subjective.
