E46= Masterpiece PERFECT styling will look good forever --- M2= Very exciting, very nice, effortlessly fast but a bit overstyled- will look great in person and is a better daily driver than the E46 M3 with crappy steptronic.
My current DD- the next to amazing E46 ZHP Coupe |

The taillights remind me of the civic:

It looks nothing like a civic in person. I hate these types of comparisons. Every single car has wheels, windows, and lights. You're going to wind up with lights that are similar shapes. It means absoultely nothing.

Not that OP was like that, but I've seen way too many people act like that and it just boggles my mind. "Looks like a GTR and a Mustang had a baby? They totally ripped off of other companies"

Wow. Made it to the cover page.
Figured I'd get some criticism, but my car was done for me, and not to please everyone. It is on KW V2 coilovers. No bags. Completely refinished in OEM PPG Ferrari Grigio Medio paint. Pics, and front lip make it look a lot lower than it really is. also tires aren't really that "stretched" compared to some of the other "stance" cars out there. I also don't see how its "slightly ghetto" lol. Car is very well maintained, and has some of the rarest authentic parts available for the E46 M. Anyways. Thought some people would like to see the comparison. Maybe someone with a stock one can go do the same for a better comparison. |

Appreciate the comparison but to say your tires are not stretched...
Anytime you can clearly see the lip of the rim protruding out the tire is being stretched and/or those wheels are too wide. Just look at how your tires look compared to the M2. Not trying to be a D, jus' sayin'. |

No offense taken. I get what your saying.
I'm just saying they are not "stretched" in comparison to someone running a 255 on a 12" wheel like you see nowadays. Yes they have a slight pull, but that is also the curved lip edge. The M2 monoblocks don't have these. If that makes any sense. haha Last edited by Laguna01///M3; 10-26-2015 at 05:26 PM.. |

Agree. It's probably going to look super aggressive with a drop, nice set of wheels. I think a different color would help too. The front bumper is just a little bit much. |

Not sure why everyone's fretting over the "fangs" so much. They are such an easy thing to address, whether it be putting on vinyl overlays, plasti dipin' them or something else. If a vendor wants to make a killing (if they are smart) they can offer pre cut/formed overlays in different colors. I'd personally want it matte black so it blends with the black mesh.

If I don't know any better that E46 M3 could pass for the upcoming car on that pic. It's aged beautifully!

it means it didn't differentiate that much from low priced cars and that should mean something. when you get into bimmer territory you expect a certain uniqueness that, it's sad to say, rarely met. I think the e46 and the 1m are cars that when seen on the road represent a special kind of cars but that's my way of seeing things and I understand if the majority won't agree with me.
