I honestly think the advantage of DCT and 6 speed Manual is negligible rolling.
reason i say this is the DCT needs 2 gear changes to do this run vs 3-4th gear on 6 speed.

so I dont see the 6 speed being at a disadvantage for these tests.
Quarter Mile different story.

running through the lower gears that rev quickly I can understand the DCT is at big advantage, but on the longer gears I really dont see the 6sp being at a huge disadvantage.

once again for Quarter mile I can believe half a second but that's like 4-5 gear changes for a car that runs 10s with DCT and 4 gears in a 6 speed.
your car is fast for sure but it's not like it will be half a second quicker 60-130 if it was DCT

I read what you said and don't agree. If you can find me a stock turbo manual car within .5 seconds of the fastest stock turbo time of 6.44 I'll consider myself proven wrong. 2 DTC shifts are still better then one manual shift, you realize a manual car falls out of boost in between shifts right? Only way to get around it is by tuning and still doesn't even compare to the speed and ability to hold boost in between gears like a dct car.

Yup congrats to him for taking the record back! My best is a 7.15, on a conservative tune barely hitting 23 psi. I'm happy with the way the car is as is. No need to turn the boost up to get into the 6s. Just check out the difference between a 6Mt and DCTs acceleration curve on dragy. Although 6MT has one less shift the acceleration curve drops hard where as the DCT cars stay flat.
