Autobild has measured 10.5s in 100-200km/h, not a good time for 440hp It's the same time of the less powered (on paper) RS3 with the heavy 4wd, the M4 is 1 second faster.

The car is detuned to hell. Sad but true.

Cross-reference to another M2C dyno thread: here ("▀▄ eas | MY19 M2 Competition Dynojet results! (whp) (Sep 2018)").

I can't see how the M2C would be 1s slower than the M4 over 100-200km/h since they have nearly identical power (and similar weight) as per from the dyno chart

I believe it. Other dyno shows a 20whp disadvantage to the M4. BMW detuned it, it will show in testing. Luckily the power is just sitting there waiting to be untapped.

Actually, I could see M2C 0-60mph not being quicker than M2 when tested. Looking at the small torque advantage of the M2 down low. But up top, 0-100mph and 0-130mph being in favor of the M2C. M2C will have a higher trap speed in 1/4 mile.

Never really been a fan of Autobild, so I don't really rely on their numbers. They don't exactly run on prepped surfaces, awd cars do quite well in their tests. Lets see what some US mags get.

What will be interesting...how US spec non-particulate filter cars stack up against Euro spec particulate filter cars. Is there a performance difference?

For the sake of fidelity I hope someone will soon do a quarter mile run so we can use the trap speed recorded for corroboration.

I am not totally convince of the 20whp delta applies in the real world because the dyno run on the M4 by EAS was on a different day and on a different car with different set of wheels and tires. Those runs were also done with 91 octane and the full potential of the M2C S55 was not realised. G Power's dyno run did not show such a delta exist. Hopefully more dyno runs with 93 will start appearing to shine light on this subject.

I will run the car 1/4 mile as soon as I get it. Like, within a day or so after 1200 mi service. Lol.

I don’t think it’s enough, to be honest. Similar boost increase only nets the ZCP 20hp on the M4. Seeing that the Z4 M40i is down nearly 50hp from US spec due to one OPF.

Doesn't BMW calculate their HP/Torq by wheel and not crank? I could have swear I read that some where unless I am mistaken.

Definetly not. Manufactures inform the numbers from engine.
US Numbers from the wheels seem to be same what is power from engine in Europe.

Some good numbers vs M4 and old M2.

It seems Euro members need not worry about the new particulate filters.

Manufacturers like BMW don’t calculate anything. They mount the engine directly to an engine dyno and measure its performance. When a manufacturer advertises horsepower and torque, they quote the numbers from the engine dyno because they want to advertise the highest numbers. They’re telling you what their engine is capable of before some of its power is lost spinning the transmission, driveshaft, differential(s), wheels, etc. in the US aftermarket community, we’ve gotten used to talking about wheel horsepower and torque as measured by a chassis dyno (car sitting on top of rollers) because it gives a better idea of how the engine can accelerate the car with the rest of the drivetrain factored in but there are other issues with accurately measuring wheel horsepower and trying to compare results from one brand of dyno to another...

Of course they don't quote the number they get on their dyno.

Temperatures and drivetrain loss would be good to know.
As far as i know, powerloss is getting calculated on Superflow-dynos and actually not measured each run
