Not sure... It says F45/F46 LCI in showroom 3/18 on the info I have... I hope you don't mind I do not give a s*** about those models.

God I miss my E46 CSL. Luckily my best mate owns it and occasionally lets me drive it while he slums it in my GT3.

E46 CSL is a GT3 in a 3 series body. Cant see the M2 CSL being anywhere near as special. I hope to be proved wrong, especially as I want one.

Is the January 2018 timeline for ordering still realistic? Considering that MR. said on the other thread that the details won't be announced until late Jan, early Feb.

Yep ... I've heard that some kooky person at BMW wants to send both a UKL FWD/AWD platform and a CLAR. RWD platform model to the US and call them BOTH a 2 series.

Sounds like someone's about to get fired !

If orders are to begin in January I'd expect to hear some information in the next few weeks.

In a similar vein to the release of the 1M.

SCOTT26 said a few weeks ago in a different thread that we should be expecting an update soon. This was 2 weeks ago, still no update.

But if it is similar to the normal M2, we can order the car one day after the press release. So maybe we have to wait until January.
