BMW M2 in Individual Austin Yellow

So with the white film still on the car this definitely confirms it came from factory this way. Has anyone heard of individual options??

Wasn't sure how Austin Yellow would look on an M2.. but it doesn't look too bad.

Thanks for posting this,Scott26 mentioned a while ago that a BMW employee was able to order an M2 in a special silver color.Maybe this is another special color for someone at BMW.

It looks pretty good but I am not a fan of Austin Yellow.To bad it wasn't Laguna Seca Blue,now that is a color that I would really like to see on an M2.

History repeats itself. There were a number of Individual 1 M's produced for "special" customers, too.

Interestingly, the location above the photos indicates that the car was at the paint shop at BMW M / Individual GmbH in Garching bei München. They do all sorts of stuff incl. Individual paints, according to their website.

Must be a very special customer because they dont list the M2 on the BMW Individual list! Unless its outdated!

The M2 wears AY well. If I could do an Individual color, I might do Laguna Seca Blue, or a true red, or Silverstone, or...

thats what i noticed too. the car is in Garching near Münich Austin Yellow and with USA spec. what the hell

This suggests that the Leipzig plant paint shop got upgraded. So the Individual option may be soon be publicly available for any vehicle produced there.

I don't think so.

My guess is that the car was shipped to Munich/ Garching to be repainted. I believe Scott has sad that this was the case with the few Individual Pyrats (2x Polaris, 2x Java, MCB, etc.), although there is this one photo of the infamous Java Green 1 M from the Leipzig plant.

Who knows where the truth is.

I agree. It wears it well. It was only a matter of time before Individual M2's began appearing.
