The darth Vader look with black wheels, black line trim and black grille do look stunning on the M4 in black actually.

I`m not a chrome fan myself except for kidneys and the slats, it always looked nice and gave a nobel and distinguished look to former BMW`s

But on a black car the chrome line is not that bad IMHO, but a black car and black wheels do look like Nightriders`s KITT........at those long forgotten days I learned at an early age that black on black was not my cup a tea.....and even younger on a 3 wheeler for infants I knew instantly that FWD sucks

Light colored cars; light smoke or gun metal wheels
Dark colored cars; aluminum wheels

For best contrast.

Black is a classic color off course, but a PITA to keep cleen, after 2 black bimmers I done cleaning for now

Just cleaned my sapphire black M235i yesterday. It looked like a bomb.

Had light rain today and now it looks like shit again!

No way am I gettin black again even though it looks maybe the best out of all 4 colors when it's clean.

No, that is the optional rear tinted windows from BMW. Over here in Europe you can spec tinted rear windows and rear glass - as an option. It is against the law to have front tinted windows in most EU countries.

Chromeline is standard window trim on EU cars. Shadowline trim is optional.

MG and possibly trade an F80 owner for their lighter colored 437s.

Let's hope right! I'm awaiting some type of CSL or comp package. My friend who is a sales manager is selling their 1st M2 for 5k markup. I'd rather wait all this out and have some patience. There is a big future for the M2

My opinions only of course
1. It has its own identity now (no more 1M, is it a real M, or well you're too close to the M1 nameplate.
2. The market will be big given the starting price.
3. We always see something more with LCI or limited cars. Perhaps Comp pack 390hp and a carbon roof...who knows
4. This car WILL be good as is, BMW has had 3 years of development under their belt vs a 1M speed to production.
5. Wish list; M2 sedan version...wishful thinking...but down the road who knows.

I see this one has a chrome shadow line! I didn't see that on the order guide in the US so I'm hoping this car does not come with a chrome shadow line.
