I never have luck with the automated system understanding my production number or last 7 of the VIN, but a person will come on the line eventually.

Same here, I just enter my production number on the key pad then prompt 1. If entering the last 7 of VIN number, then it's prompt 2. Anyways my order is at port at the moment .

At port awaiting a shipping vessel. Trying not to get tempted by a used 991S in the meantime.

A little off topic, but I've been looking for a replacement for my 997 I sold a while back. The M2 looked nice and I thought it would be a better car to learn on at the limit. I have no trouble breaking the rear free on my wifes 428 and controlling it in a turn, but the 997 could really bite you with traction control off. I thought I'd give an M car a try, but Porsche will always call my name. Can't say what will happen if a nice CPO 991 comes along, but I'm super picky with used cars so I'm fairly certain there will be an M2 in the garage next month.

Yeah, but I'm going to be severely disappointed if it doesn't arrive before Christmas. Ordered it on 14 Sep.

Cluster issue recall seems to be fixed with simple software update that can be done at VPC. They are now starting to discharging but vehicles are lining up for those once were waited from 2 weeks ahead.

I dont think week 44/45 will be affected as I expect this issue line-up will be cleared before ours get to the destined ports.

My week 44 ETA at dealer is now delayed from Dec 5th to 13th for 1 week.. I confirmed with my SA that there is "port campaign" fixing this issue and seems its not a job that will be resolved in few days..

My car arrived at NJ VPC late last week and my rep told me this morning it's released to truck headed for my MA dealer. Looks like the recall issue is resolved. I will be able to take delivery before Thanksgiving. I hope others that have their cars held up at VPC will get them soon as well.

I hope mine goes back to its original ETA. If issue is no longer a problem, just need to release all that is lined up before mine hits VPC. what is your build week BTW?
