I currently own an AW 328i. I totally agree with him, I will not buy another white car again. It got boring too quickly for me and there are too many white cars on the road ( as well as gray and black). I think LBB shows M2's lines the best and at the same time I want something unique/rare for my next car (even though it looks like turquoise sometimes ).

I think AW is a stripper(not the one in nightclub which we love) color. Too cheap. Other metallic white and frozen white are not too different unless look closely. Not worth the money.

Just depends on what you want. AW is a nice very bright white that cleans up well, is very forgiving when it's dirty (contrary to what you'd think with a white), hides scratches well, is easy to touch up, and is basically a low maintenance color. And bonus: no additional cost.

Color is such a personal choice for everyone, glad there are many (though it would be nice if the M2 had more choices....).

It's pretty close to 60K
Especially post tax.

Fully loaded with a 5% tax and fees puts you at $60,264.75

At BMWs currently advertised 2.99%/60mo Finance rate for the M2 it will give you a $0 down $1,082 payment. If they match the 0.9% rate they have been giving the rest of the models, that drops to $1,027.
My dealer insists tier one interest apr is 3.99%.

Feel free to check the M2 Technical Training in the manuals sticky: a lot of components were tweaked or replaced by the ///M Division.

Yea, that is BS. My CA sent me a screenshot of his computer when rates were announced and it was/is 2.99%. I'd finance elsewhere if you dealer is pulling this as you can find good rates elsewhere, especially at 60 Months. I am looking for better rates than 2.49% for 72 Months as that is what I can get through USAA.

I get why 80%-90% of people would check the box though, especially for a decent price. I just felt it wasn't a necessity.
I may consider the Bimmertech front and rear camera's though as an aftermarket option in the future (I'd like to protect the front if I get a lip).
In my book $1,250 on an M2 is a no-brainer. We're talking ± 2.3% in nice-to-have goodies here.

If someone asks "Why ?", just reply "Why not ?".

Too late, it's already on a boat!! I understand that it isn't a lot of money, but I'm going to use that $1250 on an Xpel front wrap and as I said, I essentially didn't need all the extra stuff. I originally wanted a no frills M Car and decided to basically just get a "Stripper" version - If you can even call it that!

Yup! He told me I can finance through someone else as "these are tier one rates". I don't get it. I'm going through penfed but the car isn't in any system (including my insurance co) . Rates are anywhere from 1.74-2.49%. I'm not sure why they'd rather a customer go through another bank but I'm not paying that rate!

I'm with you. I really want the backup camera (to calm my paranoia) but all the other "goodies" are worthless to me. And the Driving Assistant may be the last straw. I don't want more sensors and nannies braking for me. Even if I can turn it off once and forget it...that camera just turned into an expensive option.

I think I'll do the same and go Xpel.

Got that also, but only for a limited period of time, more particularly until the ordered M Performance steering wheel Pro arrives (normally this June).

But if someday the stock M2 steering wheel is fitted again, heated steering can be enjoyed again.

Ah, First World problems.

No exec package for me, not needed and definitely don't need a heated steering wheel in Texas lol.

Only adding metallic paint, my M2 build was done in 5 seconds

If you lived in Texas where average temp in summer is close to 100, you would change your mind lol a/c chilled steering wheel would make more sense for me

Haha, when I found out my CA got a "modifiable" HEA car (Swapped with another dealer close by), he called and asked me the options and I said LBB paint and thats it! He was right there with me as he has an M3 that basically only has leather, cold weather package (I think 2015s had different std options than the 16+), and LEDs. He doesn't have Exec/Drv Asst Pkg or anything else like that on his 15' M3.
