Thanks as always my friend! I can't wait!

M Tour 2 begins today! I'm farting around the hotel for a bit before heading over to the new hotel. Then I'll be heading over to Marienplatz to shop.

See you all at dinner tonight!

Black looks hot btw!

Also when you are in a slower tunnel, shift into 2nd and run it up to 5500 rpm. With the windows rolled down and in sport+ let off the gas suddenly. You will be rewarded. Do this in Italy if you are worried about break in procedures. Listen to Walter and his advice on break in procedure.

Anything you can share for the break-in procedure?

Nothing too new. Keep it under 4500 and 150km/hr, vary throttle and lift off, and vary the gears. Reving above is okay for short blips but nothing sustained. Vary the gears etc. Is not a hassle as you get to hear the exhaust and feel the pull!

I hit 6500rpms many times on the rally sections but I must have been past 1300 kms by then.

I asked him about breaking the car in at the race track method. He said something along the lines of, "Yes that's fine if you want to rebuild the engine at the racetrack too".

Any updates or pics from you guys on trip #2? How was Stelvio? We missed it on trip #1 and only did the Umbrail pass. Did you also get to do any of the rally roads as well?

Silvio was awesome! There was a lot of scary moments with on-coming traffic, cyclists and such, but we got a lot of photos taken of our convoy. Our last day as we drove from Rapallo to Monte Carlo, we drove the special stage of the MC rally, that road was much the same as the Stelio, minus the high level of on-coming traffic.

I already miss being on the trip with all the great people, the great roads and the delicious food. I'm happy to be in my own home with a much less busy schedule.

Once I get through all my photos, I'll post them up. I'm actually shocked at how few pics I took, guess I was too busy driving this year. Hopefully my video worked of the Stelio as well, I was having troubles with my GoPro which is fairly normal.

I like the plates! Did anyone get M 2002 Z? That would be great to get 2002 LOL.

I was thinking to get custom Ontario plates that said M 1021 Z

Was this Italy or Switzerland? We went through the borders so often I usually had no idea where I was

Just in case some of you are wondering, we're all back from the fantastic M Tour #2 now. However, we still on a Hi and can't stop talking about the whole experience.

Now sorting through some two thousand pics and videos, and waiting on bmw.ca to forward us the email address list so we can communicate and exchange photos with all the great people we met on the trip.

Hi Fellow M Tour # 2 Colleagues,

As I haven't received all your email addresses from bmw.ca yet I thought I would share with you via this forum that I'm able to track my vehicle from the link given by my SA. Here it is below.

https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?fra...uickSearchPage

You will need your VIN to enter into the Cargo ID box.

My baby showed up just this morning with status that it has arrived in Bremerhaven port, awaiting ship departure on Jun 30. ETA Halifax is July 12.

Give it a try and see what you find for your baby.

Hope we can communicate via email soon.

Cheers to all.
