Thanks,
How would you get such info from bmw canada unless you work for bmw canada ? Or a dealership?

Thanks,
THEWRKS, what u figure finance/lease rates would be for the M2? 4.9 or higher? (48-60mts) Your educated guess in lieu of actual knowledge will suffice...

I really hope so. It's such a significant variance that it might impact whether or not I can afford the car. The wait is killing me...

Hopefully it comes soon, the pricing for the 1M was released in February so it could be possible that we wait a few more months.

They are asking $56,900 and $58,000 plus taxes respectively. The M2 is definitely the better car and you get 4 years warranty. I am 2nd on the list at my dealership with $2,500 deposit. Looking at a base white or long beach blue. I want to keep at 65k and $750 per month payments. If the M2 will be more, I will walk, too much competition and better value to be had with other cars.
LOL 750a month payments? Unless you put 10k+ down payment, you are going to be easily paying 1k+ a month on an M2.

Ya no way going to be 750...even at good rates like 1.9-2.9 which no way will apply to the m2. I'm assuming he's got a good trade or DP.

does any know if the cash incentive would apply to the M2? it says 1K discount for all "2 series" and it lists all the other series but nowhere does it have any M Cars but maybe M is included in each series? im thinking this may be only hope to receive a discount lol

I would assume not. All those "series" discounts usually never apply to M and M always have the highest lease and finance rates.

I find that all New bmws now a days have high interest rates. Look at the X3, X5, X6, M3/M4, X5/X6M, they are all 5.9% lease, 4.9 finance. Back when they first released the f10 5 series, I got my 2012 528i for a rate of 3.9, but I am 100% sure the new Gxx 5 series will also be 5.9%....

Yup I'm fearing the apr on this. May have to consider alternatives to keep the monthly down.

Lease on M2 easily $1000+ mth on 36 or 39 term with nothing down.....I am considering finance but with substantial down and heloc as I would get better rate ...but have to see pricing first before a commitment...Also would have to dump my current 228i lease.

My delear just heard from BMW Canada today that there is going to be a $1000 price increase on the M3 starting January 1st.Hopefully that isn't going to affect M2 pricing.

My dealer called me today and told me he heard (or thinks) the base price will be CDN$64,900. Obviously the information he has is just as subjective as what we have heard - but that price point is pretty expensive. Add on the options, M performance parts and taxes to make this a pretty expensive access point to the world of M . Let's hope he's wrong and it's much closer to CDN$58,000.

I can't see it being $64,900 if it's going to be $51,000 USD. I think base will be $59,900 otherwise just gonna get a 1M or wait a few years for a M3.

Depends on how it's optioned... if $64,900 was relatively loaded, that's still a really good deal IMO. A loaded M3 is close to $95,000. I cannot imagine the spread with the M3 is more than $20,000 to $25,000.

I'm still of the view that a loaded M2 will be $20,000 less than a fully loaded M3. That puts it in the $70,000 range.

If the base price turns out to be 65K, I am most likely out. It will be difficult for me not to make a beeline to my dealer to collect my deposit and GTFO the allocation list out of spite.

I wish the RS3 and the A45 AMG were available in Canada-land.
