Help needed to post my brilliant delivery story
Please excuse me if I post this in the wrong place. Try as I might, I can not find a way to post text, photo, text, photo... all I can do is post an enormous block of text followed by a series of photos which is no good at all as each photo is commented on. Please help as I have some really lovely pictures to post !

You also could load them all at Smugmug.com (free for testing, then about $30US/year), pick a size, copy their URLs and paste them into the appropriate place in your copy using the yellow mountain box in the Go Advanced function above. The advantage of Smugmug is that you can crop and resize the photos there before posting them. And if you're concerned about having a consistent look, you can choose to post them all at the same width - say 600 or 800 pixels. Plus, you can archive them there or even put them into Albums for safekeeping or sharing.
Check Messages 319 and 324 and hit QUOTE to see what it could look like here: http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...227323&page=15. Is this sort of what you want to do? PM me a photo, and I'll post it here to see if that's what you're looking for. |

For all resizing duties (1920x1400 is maximum for Bimmerpost), use good old IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/). I'm still using it after all those years.
It's been around since a long time, small, user friendly, reliable and still free of virus/spam/publicity/registering.

1. You can use this thread to upload your pictures to this site (attach them to a dedicated message) and then reuse the picture links ("right"-click the picture to access it's URL) from the resulting heap in your delivery report post. (You can even try to make it tidy by deleting the dedicated upload message but the pictures should go too - it can be tested if they will persist.) You can attach your pictures to the same delivery report post and then reuse them (the links) in the text to keep it one message (with a picture heap at the bottom though) rather than two (the report and the picture source for it).
2. You can split your story into a sequence of messages each with a single picture attached. 3. You can use a free image hosting site to insert links to your pictures posted there. Not recommended but already suggested above. For resizing a simple picture editor like Windows Paint (to be withdrawn reportedly ) or may be the smartphone's one (never used mine yet but there is the capability) can be used. Thanks everyone ! I'll have to give 10/10 to M2Nebula for the simplest solution, although hitting the space bar didn't work so I used Enter. I also had to upload all the photos then choose them one by one from the drop down list in the paperclip button. As for the third party apps, I would just get into a total mess if I tried those ha ha !
