Ample space in the Auditorium allowed for the BMW M2's gather for the occasion (all include M Performance packet) to show off their dynamic prowess the essence of BMW M.

Let's talk BMW M market performance in China and the rest of Asia... And the new M2. But discuss but not give away the future strategy yet.

I can only imagine what the markups will be on the M2 in China. Maybe a few hundred cars for a country of over a billion people?

You know there are TONS of people in China that will throw ridiculous amounts of money at this car and drive the price way up. I have a friend who moved to Shanghai and he had to pay a boatload of money just for his 3 series.

Because of the luxury tax and engine tax in China, nice cars are usually twice the price. I drive a MACAN in Shanghai, and it was basically the price of the fully loaded 911 here. Therefore, if the M2 is around 61k here in Canada.
Then yea it should be more than 120k CDN.

This car looks really good. Imagine an AWD M-Performance version. Could be fun to drive! For under $50K even.
