I like all these cars don't get me wrong but the Audis are a serious value up here in comparison, and since we don't live in SoCal the awd is a big deal too. Not just drag racing. Of course RS3 does not really feel like a rwd car which a lot of guys are dead set on. If lap times are your ticket they are virtually the same with the BMW having much better tires. |

Interesting news. Basically offers details on the cost of getting the car including brakes, sport seats, and the led lights. Not bad.
Should probably save the comparison with the rs3 for the inevitable thread of its own. If people are thinking it's all about straight line or track times, you've never lived where it gets cold. The rs3 is going to smoke any m2, even if it has snow tires when the temps are below 30 deg or there is the least bit of snow. That's just the awd advantage. Personally, I'll take a golf r and save $20k plus. |

Just saw the new pricing on the M2c from my dealer and wow, I can't believe all this is offered for that price. Seats, s55, exhaust, wheels, brakes, led, etc all standard. All I need is the HK sound system and the carplay+wifi options. Thank you BMW.

I‘ve seen the canada pdf yesterday and was blown away to be honest. Base price in switzerland rose 7,9% and would be nothing but typical that still after the huge bump all kool new parts would still be extra...
Now my hopes are high that most of the new parts are allready included as well, this would give me quite a few thousand bucks more budget for m performance stuff and what not else... Last edited by ///M Houbi; 05-09-2018 at 11:33 AM.. |

Not to be an ass (nor am I not a BMW fanboi) but this argument is lacking context. Also I heard the sounds and saw the damage the RS3 can do at the strip. If you live on the straightaways of the desert or on the great plains, and want something more sophisticated than a muscle car or generic TT tuner then I think its sprinting prowess would be highly tempting.

The only reason to pay that much more for the M2C is if you don't really plan on winter driving it and you have to have rwd dynamics and/or a six speed, which is understandable. At 75k though you can just about get a Cayman S if that stuff is your main concern. |

But there's no doubt that the RS3 has many advantages over the M2. The M2 gets the nod with MT, RWD, and subjective exterior styling for sure, but the RS3 has a lot going for it too.

I guess that depends on your definition of 'no problem.' |

Did a conservative build, what I consider just the must-have Cayman S options...93k. I left off numerous options I would like.

Looks like they just copied from some M4 documentation, the picture is AY with CCB, not offered on the M2. So it is more than likely an error.
