M5 vs M2

I have been using the M5 for about 2 weeks now and I am enjoying it...

But seeing it next to a M2 and I am really looking forward to my M2C.

Man that F90 is a boat. The 5 series has gotten so massive.

Everything has gotten bigger.

The M2 is basically an e46 M3, F80's are the size of e39 M5's and the new 5s are as big as the 7's once were.

Yep. I remember a few years ago, casually browsing the BMW lot. I honestly thought I was looking at a row of 5 Series, till I went to the back and saw the 340i badge.

Nice comparison, that's 'Tim's car' isn't it?

My dealership's ceo drives one, but he has a Competition on order.

IMO one of the best movies/series ever!

Cheers

I don’t know why BMW has done this. But the 2 series is the only BMW I am interested in now (except if they ever import the 1 series). Everything else is way to big.

That M7 is such a sleeper. If I ever encounter one on the road, I'm going to do my best not to troll the driver so he doesn't embarrass me.

Yup, but it has gone back now. The M5C is nice but not worth the upgrade. Only the exhaust tune is better, the rest you can forget.

It's not BMW. It's everyone. The Honda Civic is within a couple tenths of an inch the same length as a 340. The Corolla is half an inch longer than a 340. In 2000, the Civic was an inch shorter than a 325. Honda brought the Fit when the Civic grew to long, Toyota brought the Yaris, BMW brought the 1 and the 2.

Rather than be annoyed at BMW, I'll just go with being annoyed at everyone.
