Is this the first ever stolen M2 to get recovered

I was searching online to see if I could find any theft stories for the BMW M2 where the car had been found ? So thought to check here . If not then this could be the first stolen M2 to ever be found

Any stories on theft anyone ?

Almost too bad that they recovered it. I sure wouldn’t want it back.

In the comments It says the owner was going to have bmw rebuild it for him but the recovery company lost a bunch of parts so he opted for the insurance payout in end.
