Oct/Nov/Dec Allocations - post here

Post here when you get an allocation or production number for week 40 until the end of the year.
Anyone received an allocation, they normally come out on Sept 6th-12th from my understanding?

  1. Post when you were given the allocation/production number week
  2. Post your actual allocation/production week (for example, you were given a week 44 on September 18th

Trying to figure out if allocations are given quarterly or monthly?

Please stay on topic, do not post anything other than what I have asked above

I have a December build allocation. I never asked for the production number but he checked his system before I placed my order/deposit.

You probably don't want to post your actual production number. I don't know that anything bad can actually come of it, but it still seems unwise.

It would also be beneficial to post what country you are in.

Your car might have already started this week if you are truely WK38. However I would think WK 38 is last quarter's allocation and will be completed in September. You may want to give your CA a call tomorrow. Normally Classic BMW are very good at scheduling their allocations.

I was told estimated start of production is the week of 9/17; with a estimated delivery mid November. I'm thinking Classic already had that allocation and I was just lucky enough to grab it. I "signed up" on 12 Aug; put my deposit down yesterday, 7 Sep. Then got my production number today.

In that case you are WK40, the first week of 4th quarter.Either your CA is very cool who could get allocations easily or the wait list is essentially gone. At any rate, congrats!

If his car starts production 9/17, it will likely finish around 9/29 or 9/30 (week 39) but, even if it finishes week 40, the point is that it's still a third quarter allocation. Unless I'm mistaken, the whole point of this thread is to track the distribution of fourth quarter allocations.

My mistake. I misunderstood allocation for delivery. Last new BMW I ordered was waaay back in 2001. I'm rusty at this.

That is correct so we know when dealer get their allocations and we get that allocation, no one has to supply production number, just build week and when they received it
