How long do ED cars sit at port?

Hi,

I'm waiting for delivery of my LCI M2. It arrived to the west coast port on 8/7, and according to WW's website was released from customs 8/9. Both my dealer and BMW genius says it's still sitting at the port.

How long do cars usually sit before being shipped? I also can see on BMW connected app that it hasn't been touched since 8/7.

Mine was a Euro delivery and sat at the port/customs/ vpc for 2 days in Baltimore. I think ymmv when it comes to customs and transport to your dealer.

Mine was ED also. It spent a little over 2 weeks at port.

It was exactly 3 weeks for me - slight delay due to [new gauges'] software update, then it had to wait an excruciating amount of time to get trucked from NJ to MD, then on another truck to get to me. I'm only 3 hours from Jersey City and half an hour (if that) from Baltimore - they simply don't truck many cars from NJ VPC to MD VPC.

Mine was ED as well. Arrived in Brunswick on 10/31 and was delayed at the VPC for a software update (gauges). I took redelivery via PCD in SC on 12/1.
