Hi all

New member here. I have an issue with my unmodified factory standard HK speaker or amp. Any diagnostic help would be appreciated.

Passenger side rear speaker (only) gives feedback noise, regardless of whether ignition, engine or music is on or off. The feedback is a constant whistle, at a constant level. It also makes a ‘pop’ sound (sometimes), when I turn the engine/ignition off.

I plan to swap the right and left rear speakers this weekend, and hopefully isolate the issue to one faulty speaker.

In the meantime, I wonder if anyone else has experienced a similar issue, or has any advice on possible cause?

It's almost always the amp.
