I'm not sure how they plan on putting out an N55 pushing that kind of power and retaining factory reliability. I really hope they use the S55 or even go back to an N54, the other major issue I hope they address is improving the EPS, it's not the worst on the M235i, but it still lacks feel.
I hope the production and sale dates are correct, because the lease on my current car will be up right when they are readily available and I will be very interested in this as an option. |

That's my one fear as well. I hope they don't handcuff the M2. I hope they let the M4 become the mini GT, and let the M2 be the full on sports car model for the enthusiasts.

well the reality is they are going down consistently. still not cheap by any means but definitely going down compared to 6 months ago even. A lot more cars popping up regularly too. It's bound to happen really....nothing out of the ordinary

In fact, I would love for this to be stealthy in the noise department like my 135 is - I don't want to draw the attention of the fuzz when I get on it. |

I drove a 1M last week and the 135is sounds soooooo much better than the 1M! I was amazed. the 135is has one of the best exhausts I've heard in a long time. If the M2 sounds anything like it then it will be a great thing!

Looks great! The more I look at this, and go back to look at a Cayman S, the less I want the M2. Ka-ka-kaa-Caaaymaaaan!
Still, will be a very exciting car and is guaranteed to stir up lots of buyers remorse sentiment among M4 owners. |

Hope they add CF roof. They were delinquent on the 1M. BMW would make a big mistake if they don't add it to the M2. As much weight loss as we can get is key.

To keep this car competitively priced under the m3/4 I highly doubt it will have the same weigh savings focus as the m3/4 and the Cf roof will likely be an option if I had to guess. |

I see it as: E46 M3 to 1M to 2M. NA nice evolution. Excited to see the end result.
