If you're the type of person who likes 0 wheel gap that will be an issue. If you're fine with factory recommended settings it's not a big deal.

2. Price, I got a great deal. 3. KW V3 was my first choice, but I'm absolutely happy with what I got. Quote:
I love the stock suspension, so I'm *hoping* I'll love these even more. |

Regardless, I've seen them on a friends car at max low and the rears don't really go as low as I'd like. My buddy had to remove the rear perches to get it to sit as low as the front and that's not really something I'm crazy about. I've gone KW HAS for the meantime and will go V3 when the time comes.

I'm lucky that I actually prefer some gap. In fact, with 10/12 spacers I could leave the stock rear height and lower just the front 7mm to match it and I'd be absolutely ok with that. Unfortunately, trimming the front springs wasn't an option, so I had to go MPS. I'm sure your KWV3 will look fantastic, love that look for pictures for sure. |

Spacers emphasize any gap whereas no spacers has the advantage of the fenders hiding the gap. That's one of the reasons why I no longer run spacers. The other reason is that I can actually feel the difference in ride quality degrading after adding spacers. Yes, they were always high quality spacers that were properly cleaned and seated on the hub. Still, I felt more harshness. If you can't relate to this, I encourage you to run spacers for a few weeks and then take them off. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how much better the car feels without them. Nothing beats wheels with proper offsets. Spacers are just wrong on so many levels. |

No real rubbing - don't think I'd want to go lower and I don't want a "slammed" car....will eventually get this corner balanced to get it perfect for my weight |

At the same (or similar) price point I'd still take the v3's, but that ride height looks pretty suitable for me and I feel like I could live with it, so maybe I'll consider the MPS (provided I get a great deal). |

Are yours at the bottom front and back? I think that's where I'm going to set mine before they even go on, at least in the rear, as I know I want those all the way down, and they're a pain to adjust once they're on the car. The front is so much easier.

I think we actually raised the front a few times during the alignment - its definitely not at the bottom (in the front)

Awesome, so all the way down in the back is ok for the install, but the front is going to take some working. I like the way your car sits. If you get under that thing anytime soon, it'd be much appreciated if you could measure the distance to your adjustment ring.

The matter of 'gap' is a tough one and very profile-dependent.
Lax's first pic looks absolutely slammed. Personally, I hate anything remotely close to slammed. Yet, the second pic (at gas station) looks pretty close to spot-on according to my own aesthetic interests. Even with my own M2C, one moment the gap looks like the Grand Canyon and other times looks 'tolerable.' Aesthetically, I think the sweet spot for ME would occur by (1) leveling out the gap from front to back; and (2) this would be accomplished by lowering the front by about about .75" and back by about .25". Performance-wise, I do not mind the 'stiff' ride with stock M2C suspension. What I do not like is the fact that the chassis is a small tank . . . and feels like one. What I would love to know from Visual and others who installed the MPS coilovers is whether they make the chassis feel lighter (e.g., more nimble)? Thank you in advance ///AVM |

I am not well-versed on Lotus or the Exige, other than I know you own one and like it. I have had a few videos 'suggested' to me recently on YouTube about the Ultima RS. I have no idea who even makes the car, but it looks like your Exige to me . . . is the Ultima RS a Lotus? ///AVM |
