Flat tire

So I've been on my winter tires for about 4 months and got a flat on one of them today. First question is can the car sit on the 100% flat tire for a couple days ? Next one is can I buy just 1 of the same tire ?

If the tire is shot, it probably won't hurt it any more to sit on a flat. Don't drive on it.

If the tire still has decent tread, it may be repairable. If not, you could replace just the one, but I typically replace them in 2s if possible.

Alrighty. So it does still have decent tred, and sounds like it was a puncture. Should I not let it sit on it over night then? Planning on having it towed to the bmw dealer in the morning and having them repair or replace it

Itll probably be ok overnight. Tires are pretty resilient.

Punctures can be repaired most of the time. In the worst case scenario, if a tire needs to be replaced after all, it's still unlikely that the good one on the same axle is so worn (winter tire, 4 months old) that warrants replacement of 2 tires.
