Received this and installing now. Thought I was done then found I have a whole new piece left over. No mention of this part in the instructions for either the V2 or the original N55 guide.

assume it's a new heat shield so I'm going to remove it all and start again.

***edit, yep it seems you're meant to screw this heat shield to the new enclosure prior to install***

Looks 'the business' but I'm also interested in how it sounds also, I couldn't live with how the original sounded sucking in air and then dumping, I want it to work tirelessly but silently in the back ground!

it sounds basically the same. Maybe a fraction less of the spooling sound but still has the same characteristics as it did before this piece was added. I've said this many times but I for one think this intake sounds good when the car is being hammered but it's irritating when driving around town.

Finally got around to installing. It's definitely quieter with this which makes sense because this closes off the open side of the V1 system. Still audible but quieter. Otherwise not noticing any noticeable difference after my initial drive.

Has anyone actually measured before and after I take temps with the new piece?

Same here. I have seen it done twice but heard modification of the normal install is required.

Maybe someone from the company can chime in and confirm. Would make for some awesome eye candy.

Agree that it looks amazing but I don't think I could live with the whistling / dump valve releasing the pressure when you get off the accelerator pedal. I've not actually heard it in person so maybe I'll change my mind when I do.

I have never heard the Dinan nor the Eventuri before its installation. It is quieter than I thought it would be but from what I am reading, it can get annoying if it's too audible.

I'd love to hear the Dinan someday.

It hurt my wallet big time, but I do love the sound!! Man, I would really appreciate it if someone made a transparent hood!!

I've had my Eventuri V1 for over a year now and it doesn't make the whistling sound anymore. Unless it's because I'm on the BM3 Stg2 AGG tune and can't hear it over the burbles. I tried really hard to listen for it over the last two days and couldn't at all.

Hey BeePee.
That's sounds great! Was that the Dinan intake with just the standard exhaust?
