Doing European delivery, CT dealer I'm in Massachusetts 90 miles away,

Some fees: conveyance fee? $695

Annual rate 4.49% base rate is (advertised) 2.89% I have nearly 800 credit score

Now they claim it's a glitch on the web site... it's 4.49% best rate... on bmw USA website for 24-60 months 2.89% 2019 M2

The new business model of BMWUSA, everything is hush-hush (all sponsor forum members are told to be quite or pay retribution by BMWUSA upon leaking any internal info); we all at the mercy of CA when it comes to incentives and rates now.

Most dealers mark up rates coming from BMWFS

New trend?

It's the same crap they try and pull year after year, 6th BMW, several stores similar games

From 2002-now

I get trucks as a 2nd vehicle, example Ford F-150, I ask dealers when I'm shopping sell at invoice minus half the holdback we have a deal, my excuse is I can get this truck any place hundreds in my state in color and configuration, after a few calls I get the deal

Bmw different animal, no manufacturer hold back and limited stock

Holdback is a few percent of msrp of vehicle price, dealer gets if car is sold within 90 days

Finance rate should be 2.89 or 2.99, if your dealer says its' 4.49 they are trying to screw you. I'm not sure what the 695 is.

Yes they are...

General manager will not budge.

They have my deposit, car being built soon, delivery in 3 weeks

Can't exactly go to another bmw store now.

Bmw financial isn't helpful, it's up to the dealer, they can't confirm or deny out of state dealers can't use customers home rate.

I wanted to just give a check from my credit union 2.74% but I thought 2.89% with manufacturer would just be smoother not I'm paying 50% finance charge

Marketing rate for Connecticut is 4.5% Massachusetts 2.89 per Bmw website using zip code

I would use a credit union just to give the dealer the middle finger. 2.74 from your UC is a fair rate.

If you're locked into BMWFS, just refinance when you take delivery with your credit union. Have done it a number of times at dealerships. They tend to give you better deals if you use their financing, only because they are tacking on a couple points for themselves.

Drive off the lot straight to my CU and refinance for an extremely low rate.

Makes sense, they did get me a spot when no dealer around would/could

It's just part of the cost of getting the car around here I guess.

was planning on paying off sooner anyway

Pentagon Federal is 3.5 for 48 and 3.74 for 60. I always used them in the past but this time I went with BMW.

Refinance with CU in 90-days after delivery, dealer won't get any incentive from BMWFS (if you want to be nasty)

Plan is to be as obnoxious as possible, eat a tuna sandwich with extra onions with Doritos, my most musky cologne "sex panther" by Odia baned in 9 country's! works 60% of the time every time.

then say at the last, I'm refinancing tomorrow to save 1/4% lol
