Car won’t remember some settings

Anyone else have this problem? Basically when I turn off the car and it goes into sleep mode, some settings aren’t remembered. As an example, I typically set the speed warning to 85 MPH, but the car can’t/won’t remember this setting and it defaults to off next time I start the car.

Yeah I get this too! Are you still experiencing it?

A lot of settings are tied to the key fob you use. Not sure if that specific thing is, but it may be. Are you switching out key fobs and have you saved your driver profile?

There is a PUMA case opened with BMW, but as of yet no resolution. Also, under the connected drive store there is no options for me. I understand that everyone sees different packages you can buy/configure such as carplay and the likes. I don't have this either.

I tried both keys thinking the same but it didn't make a difference. Also, I learned that I'm just straight up missing some menu options that everyone else seems to have.

Just an update to any who are interested, BMW still has not provided a fix. Getting frustrated as it’s clearly not a priority. At this point I’m not holding out hope they’ll ever fix it.

Yep, I took mine in for exactly the same thing. Puma case opened and never heard anything else about it. That was a year ago.

I don't know that those sorts of things aren't normal. I've have several Bimmers the past few years (330, 135, X3), settings like speed warning were never retained after shutting the car off.

They officially now told me that it’s not suppose to retain, not sure I’m buying that. My previous 4 Bimmers all retained its setting?
