Goodbye Continentals!
I'm planning to do this in the next few weeks. Did you get a good price because of the holiday sales?

As it stands currently, I think the best price I can get is from Tire Rack installed by Pepboys.
I always buy my tires in Nov/Dec.

I got $100 off retail, and $100 for both fronts.

I'm happy, now the car will have proper rubber on it.

Can you share where you got that deal?

Why didn't I buy this years ago? Get one now. You won't regret it. Had my M2 back up to remove the brake pads and change oil. Also my x1 for a brake job and oil change. Highly recommended.

I suggested taking the kids to Legoland, and she wanted to get a hair cut from a salon she likes in Buena Park so the whole thing was set.

Here is the before:

Here are the wheels (I decided to take another one that had a tiny scratch on it along as well) loaded in the back of our Pilot for the journey down:

And here's the after:

Son Tran does exceptional work. A lot of people think our wheels are machined faces, but they're not, they're just two tone. I've heard some people talk about tinted clear, but that's also not true. The issue, according to Son, is matching the silver colour, because it's not specified anywhere, and really difficult to match. I watched him work, and he matched it by eye!

The finish is flawless... Highly highly recommended!
Not bad. . . But, did they miss a few spots or is that just a reflection?

Just a reflection. There is some overspray on the tire, but I told him I was replacing them and not to worry about that. I had to head back up north so I didn't give him any time to let the clear fully cure, polish etc. I'm sure even the overspray would have been cleaned off if I had given him more time.

Gave in and ordered a set of winter rubber. Just can't bear to let it sit in the garage for 3 months.

Call me crazy but I enjoy taking a little break from my sports cars during the winter months. It makes the next spirited drive in good weather all the more special.

Yes they are. Once I saw them in the flesh I knew I had to have them.

Didn't like the 437M on the M3/M4 and although I think they're better on the M2 I must be one of the few ppl that don't like them.

If the 763M were maybe a little cheaper or more colour options other than black or gold then they might have been an option.

Bingo.

Mine is in semi-hibernation.

I topped the tank off 21 days ago and covered it.

This month is all about new tires, an oil change, and a full spa treatment
