They do nothing, just cosmetic. 600, not worth it tbh, but I'm happy.

So minor and I obv didn't read the manual... but thanks to an enthusiast friend I learned the preset buttons are not just for phone numbers or radio stations!

Programed in some of my fav items available under the iDrive:
-tire pressure/temp
-weather
-sport displays

Oh and my wife's phone number 😐

I have original autoid caps. Definitely more wind noise vs. stock mirror caps.

I'm not looking forward to putting it all back again after the service, and going through the whole thing again in 12 months time...

I'm not sure I'll bother next time but this time I have to make a warranty claim - head unit screen is registering phantom touches when it's hot. I know the head unit is nothing to do with engine tuning and bolt on mods, but I don't want to risk getting a red flag in any way.
Subaru / Ford void warranties for evidence of tamper - IE if you have markings on your downpipe v-band - evidence of removal of the intercooler system - marring of bolt heads - etc etc

If a high dollar part does fail while under warranty and they see you have tampered with commonly modified parts in the past. They specifically train how to look for temporary de-modding of common aftermarket parts with their service guide then void the warranty if they see fit.

Their legal standpoint is the damage was done while the car was modified and just because it isn't now is irrelevant then put the burden of proof on you to prove it wasn't. Have seen this in person several times.

Would not be surprised if BMW had something similar.

Just an FYI as that seems like an insane amount of work for minimal gain.

http://www.revozport.com/m2/m2razefr...er.html#popup1

If the link doesn't work, google Raze front bumper canard.

I love the product but it took over 2 months for the company to get the product to me.

Yep... know all this. I'm not worried about having to make a warranty claim on the drivetrain; if I have issues there, I'll suck it up and take the hit. As I said, I don't want to be black listed for issues that aren't related just because I have mods elsewhere.

I'm not trying to be deceptive, I'm trying to avoid confrontation!

It uses the factory bolt. It's the same install as the s55 in the M3/4.

I'm planning to do this in the next few weeks. Did you get a good price because of the holiday sales?

As it stands currently, I think the best price I can get is from Tire Rack installed by Pepboys.

Just over a week ago, I curbed my rear passenger side wheel pulling out of a space and forgetting there was a curb that side....

My wife wanted a family trip down to SoCal over the holidays, so I thought "Perfect time to take my wheel to the mythical 'Son Tran' in Garden Grove".

I suggested taking the kids to Legoland, and she wanted to get a hair cut from a salon she likes in Buena Park so the whole thing was set.

Here is the before:

Here are the wheels (I decided to take another one that had a tiny scratch on it along as well) loaded in the back of our Pilot for the journey down:

And here's the after:

Son Tran does exceptional work. A lot of people think our wheels are machined faces, but they're not, they're just two tone. I've heard some people talk about tinted clear, but that's also not true. The issue, according to Son, is matching the silver colour, because it's not specified anywhere, and really difficult to match. I watched him work, and he matched it by eye!

The finish is flawless... Highly highly recommended!
