I just installed the Bavsound Amp and Sub upgrades in my M2C.

The quoted install times are legit at about 45 minutes for the amp and 45 for both subs. Actually if I did it again, I could probably do both in under an hour.

The newest gen subs already have the foam backer to seal the enclosure installed. 8 screws and the wiring harness clip and that’s it. I left the enclosure in place, the install video shows it being removed but I found no need to remove it.

To access the Amp just remove 6 plastic clips and a bolt securing the luggage tie down bracket. Pull everything apart, unbolt the amp bracket from the car, flip the clip and it’s out, secure the new amp to the new amp bracket provided, plug in, and put everything back together.

Easy as could be (except for slicing my thumb on the amp bracket).

Need to break in the subs but already a noticeable difference for sure.

Recently did mine as well and am very happy so far. Definitely heading a substantial difference. The new amplifier just came in as well so I'm excited to install that soon as well and complete the upgrade.

I think they purposefully made the amp bracket sharp to punish us for messing with it.
