Looking to buy a LBB M2 again(this time DCT) and was rather bothered with the amount of small, white stonechips the LBB paint picked up!

I now understand that this is something you just have to live with but how well have yours held up?

The M2 I'm looking to buy have done 23k miles and there is rather alot of stonechips, probably since all those miles were done within 1 year, therefore alot of highway driving.

Should they be easy to repair or will I just have to respray the panels in the future if I want it to look new and then PPF it?

Depends on how bad the chips are. I had a couple chips in my hood from rocks and was able to cover them up pretty well with a Dr colorchip kit.

They're not invisible, but you'd be hard pressed to see them unless you were looking very closely.

Here's some pics. 2 of them are before any treatment, the other 2 are after a couple coats with the Dr colorchip kit. I probably did 4 or 5 coats total and it's nearly invisible now.

Interesting...Stone chips on my AW are grey.

If it bothers you much, i recommend filling in the chips with a fluid writer pen, it really helps fill in the chips and makes them significantly less noticeable especially from a short distance.
