Based on my last 2 track days in the M2 it seems like it could also use brake cooling. Any reasonable kits out there?
I put those Porsche scoops on the control arms that are less than $10. Probably don't do anything.
What's the part number for the Porsche scoops?

I ran XP12's on my EVO X with a fully ducted backing plate setup for cooling. It nearly doubled the front pad life of the 12's. The car weighed 3550 with me in it. Do some searching and you will find backing plates for the M2. Then its just finding a way to get clean air into a NACA duct setup. I'll be rigging something up by this fall for sure.....

Brake ducting is such a PITA for a car that sees most of its life on the street. It always gets torn up, and you overcool brakes when it’s not needed.

Not to mention, I’ve seen carbon backing plates catch on fire.

Recommendations where to purchase PCFs & Motul 660?

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions where to order these? I have a track event for my M2C in a month.

Steel or aluminum is what I've used in the past no carbon crap.

Certain tracks are much easier on brakes than others. On the faster ones I used to block all or part of the NACA openings. I measured this with an external pyrometer on the rotors.

Last, rigging a proper hose and routing it correctly only required me to change out the hose every 15K or so. Easy peasy

I know this thread is a bit old but I'm now using Circo M119 Brake Pads (Temp 50˚C to 800˚C - Avg Friction 0.48µ to 0.51µ) which are great for 5 lap super sprints. I am currently running them in front and back in my M2C in the state championships is Australia. Before you try to look them up I had them custom built as Circo don't currently do the M5 shape pads in the race compounds off the shelf - although you can get some of the Winmax compounds. Price was the same as standard so I didn't pay any extra to get them made but I had to wait about a month for them to be delivered. Race compound that are street drivable - worth a try. PS they do squeak a bit.
